The recall was initiated after routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors and subsequent analysis by Food Laboratory personnel revealed the presence of milk allergens in the packages [of product] which did not declare a milk ingredient on the label.
Veggie Cups labeled as Fruit Cups - Condies Foods of Kearns, UT is recalling 166 cases of veggies cups because they were labeled as fruit cups. The veggie cups had dressing which was not on the fruit cup label so there is a possibility that this may contain undeclared milk and egg allergens. After getting an initial complaint from a customer about the label not matching the description of the product, after seeing the pictures from the email it was decided to initiate a voluntary recall to ensure that our public would not get further exposure to an erroneous product.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the milk containing product was distributed with a label that did not reveal the presence of milk. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company’s production and packaging processes.
Soy Found In Product - PFP Enterprises LLC, also doing business as Texas Meat Packers, a Fort Worth, Texas establishment, is recalling approximately 7,570 pounds of ground beef products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, soy, which is not declared on the product label. The problem was discovered when FSIS received a complaint from a school about the product’s packaging. FSIS laboratory testing confirmed that the product contained soy and added water.

Products were distributed to distributor customers located in CA, NY, and Canada from 08/03/2017-08/31/2017. The products were further distributed by customers to various Chinese markets potentially nationwide.

One consumer complaint of an allergic reaction was received from a customer in Canada.
The recall was initiated after notification by FDA of a consumer complaint in Canada.

Daisy’s Bakery Inc. of Clifton, New Jersey is recalling 4 ounce packages of Gourmet Concha, because it may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
Daisy’s Bakery Gourmet Concha was distributed in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Illinois and North Carolina in retail stores through direct delivery.
The product is white, round with a seashell shape stamped on top of a 4 ounce sweet bread, clear plastic package marked with the lot numbers 441, 442, 443, 444, 445, 446, 447, 448, 449, 450, 451, 452, 453, 454, 455, 456, 457, 458, 459, 460, 461, 462, 463, 464, 465, 466, 467, 468, 469, 470 and 471 marked in yellow or white numbers on the back of the package.
No illnesses have been reported to date relating to this occurrence.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the milk containing product was distributed with a label that did not reveal the presence of milk. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in the company’s production and packaging processes.
Production of the product has been suspended until FDA and the company are certain that the problem has been corrected.

WASHINGTON, Dec. 21, 2017 – PFP Enterprises LLC, also doing business as Texas Meat Packers, a Fort Worth, Texas establishment, is recalling approximately 7,570 pounds of ground beef products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today. The products contain soy, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.
The raw, frozen, ground beef items were produced on Sept. 28, 2017. The following products are subject to recall: [View Labels (PDF only)]
•40-lb. cases containing four 10-lb. bags of “85/15 Ground Beef Bulk” with item code 4013 and Patterson Food Processors printed on the label.
•10-lb. cases containing two 5-lb. bags of “85/15 Ground Beef Bulk” with item code 4012 and Patterson Food Processors printed on the label.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 34715” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to a distributor and institutional locations in Texas.
The problem was discovered when FSIS received a complaint from a school about the product’s packaging. FSIS laboratory testing confirmed that the product contained soy and added water.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
Institutions and consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers.
